Power of Words: Part 7

Your words and your actions are telling the same story -- or they are not. That is the heart of this week's message in our ongoing series, The Power of Words. Part seven brings us to a powerful truth: our actions are the extension of our words. A confession of faith that has no corresponding fruit is, as James 2 puts it, dead and useless.

Romans 10:9-10 reminds us that believing in your heart and openly declaring Jesus as Lord are both essential -- and that declaration must be backed by a life that reflects it. As Jesus warned in Matthew 7:21, not everyone who calls out His name will enter the kingdom of heaven, but those who actually do the will of the Father.

Grace does not eliminate works -- it creates the capacity for them. Are your actions an extension of what you profess? If you missed today's message, make time to catch up. This one is too important to pass on.
