I Am: Part 9
Every day, we're setting an example—whether we realize it or not. This Sunday's message on "Yahweh Tsidkenu" (The Lord Our Righteousness) challenged us with a powerful truth: we are royal priests, called to lead others to God's heart through how we live.
But here's the sobering reality—our actions either draw people closer to Christ or scatter them away. For 800 years, Israel ignored God's warnings until judgment finally came. Yet even in judgment, God's righteousness brings restoration. He gathers the remnant and appoints faithful shepherds to care for His flock.
The question we must ask ourselves: What are we doing that misrepresents God? Are our works proving our faith, or are we causing others to stumble? James 2 reminds us that faith without works is dead. We wear His name daily—let's represent Him well.
God's mercy exceeds where we fail, but His righteousness demands we take seriously the souls He's entrusted to us. Today is the day to turn our hearts back to Him.
