Power of Words: Part 1

Words are powerful — not just as a means of communication, but as a creative force. In Sunday's message, we explored how God spoke everything into existence (Genesis 1:1-3), and because we are made in His image and likeness, our words carry that same creative authority.

God does not give us a command without empowering us to fulfill it. His grace is not only the forgiveness of sin — it is His divine empowerment working in and through us (2 Peter 1:2-3). The question is, what are we doing with that grace? Are we speaking God's Word over our lives, or have we allowed it to become vain?

When we speak God's Word by faith, it is as though God spoke it Himself. What are you creating with your words today?
