From Beginning To End: Part 7
Why do bad things happen to good people? This Sunday, we discovered that the question itself might need to change.
Jesus said the man was born blind "so that the power of God could be seen in him" (John 9:3). From the blind man receiving sight to Lazarus being raised from death, God's glory shines brightest through our darkest moments. The question isn't "Why me?" but "What is God revealing about Himself through this?"
Jesus traveled from Bethany to Bethany—from the place of crossing over to the house of affliction and back again. Our suffering isn't punishment; it's purposeful. It's God-appointed so His power can be made visible. We must die to our old ways before we can be resurrected to new life. Death is conquered by resurrection, and the glory will outlast the suffering.
Are you ready to shift your perspective and see God's glory in the midst of your storm? From beginning to end, He's with you.
